Great location, nice bar and restaurant nearby, not too touristy, quieter than other parts of the beach, felt safe.
Can't think of anything.

This hotel is close to the sea at the quiet end of the beach where good surfing waves are, but dangerous for swimming. Good swimming and smaller waves are located 300 metres south with the noisier bars and beach facilities. This hotel is new and in the process of getting better with an excellent and popular restaurant, an extremely enthusiastic and well travelled owner, very courteous and obliging staff. The room was large, well lit, clean and comfortable with a fully working bathroom and good a/c. The bed was large with an excellent mosquito net and real pillows. The view from the large balcony was over the garden area and breakfast tables through palm trees on the beach to the sea. The breakfasts were acceptable and similar to other hotels in quality. Airport pick up is available from the owner by email, the local bus stops near the hotel and Galle is 20 mins away. An excellent choice for a mid price hotel.

Hotel owners are excellent. Mr. Ajith & his brother are really concerned about the service for the guest. Location is simply great as the hotel is on the beach. Food is good.
Service staff needs to best more professional.

The location was amazing, right on the beach with beautiful sunsets. The hotel facilities were basic but clean, and the staff were friendly and cute. We enjoyed a delicious breakfast overlooking the water every morning. The hotel was conveniently located near some great restaurants, including a fantastic pizza place.
There was nothing we didn't like.

I knew what to expect from a budget hotel, but no electricity, no water and no gas (which meant no breakfast) was not on my list of expectations. The staff didn't really seem to care about the fact that there were no basic amenities.

The beachfront location of this hotel was fantastic with stunning sea views from our room and balcony. The staff were also very friendly and accommodating, going out of their way to ensure our stay was comfortable. We were pleasantly surprised to find out that breakfast was included in our room rate and it was delicious with plenty of options to choose from.
The room was a little basic and could have benefited from some modern updates. We also found that it was a bit noisy at night, as our room faced a busy street.

Incredible location - the beach is a few steps from the rooms. Pizza restaurant is pretty decent.
No water several times during our stay. Electricity is also temperamental!

Only Positive was the young guy that seem to do everything, carry bags, clean, cook breakfast would try to do anything to help.
Hotel did not match the description, we booked the most expensive room: 1) it wasnt sea view - you have to lean out over balcony then look right 2) bathroom smelled really bad when we checked in 3) no mini bar in room - unpowered smelly fridge was there 4) no tea/coffee maker 5) no hot water in the morning - central switch was off When we checked in we were told our room would be changed the next day, then when we asked the next day they said the room was damaged from a storm the day before. We understood there was nothing they could do about the storm so we asked for a discount for the room they gave us, instead of the manager being helpful he started to argue - at this point we had enough and decided to check out and move into a really nice hotel less then 1km away.

This hotel offers great value for money, with affordable prices and attention to detail. The location is conveniently close to local shops and tourist attractions, making it easy to explore the area. The staff provides excellent service, ensuring that basic amenities are provided and the rooms have a pleasant view. The added bonus of air conditioning and a complimentary breakfast adds to the overall experience.
The hotel could benefit from some minor improvements.

We spent Easter weekend at a beach resort and it was amazing! the room was very comfortable and had all the necessary amenities. the staff was friendly and helpful. the best part was that we could hear the sound of the waves from our room, and we were just a stone's throw away from the beach. the breakfast spread was good, and we particularly enjoyed the fresh fruit and pastries.
the beach in front of the hotel was a bit rocky and not ideal for swimming, but we found a sandy beach just a short walk away.
